Dil Ki Seva- GMTC+ Campaign (Grassroots Multireligious & Transcultural Cardiovascular+)

Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Amanpreet Singh Wasir, Founder and Medical Director of HAF, and spearheaded on-ground by Dr. Kamalpreet Kaur Wasir, Director of Administration.

On the meaningful day of 7 July 2025, the HridayAmrit Foundation (HAF) proudly inaugurated its flagship GMTC+ Campaign (Grassroots Multireligious & Transcultural Cardiovascular+) with the launch of its first community outreach initiative, “Dil Ki Seva,” in Gurgaon, Haryana.

Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Amanpreet Singh Wasir, Founder and Medical Director of HAF, and spearheaded on-ground by Dr. Kamalpreet Kaur Wasir, Director of Administration, the campaign was carried out under the thoughtful advisory guidance of Dr. Aditi Agarwal.

“Dil Ki Seva” was a deeply impactful initiative that served over 1000+ daily wage labourers and underserved individuals from a wide spectrum of religious, linguistic, and cultural backgrounds. It was more than a food distribution drive- it was a mission to nourish both body and soul, with carefully curated meals that promoted not just fullness, but long-term health. Each meal was crafted to be heart-healthy and balanced, rich in proteins, fiber, and essential nutrients, while avoiding excess salt, sugar, and trans fats- demonstrating what truly nutritious eating looks like for the common man.

The campaign did not stop at food. Alongside distribution, the team organized awareness sessions to educate recipients on vital aspects of preventive cardiology. These included how to recognize and manage high blood pressure, the role of protein and nutrition in everyday diets, the dangers of smoking and tobacco use, and the importance of regular physical activity, stress reduction, and routine checkups. Information was delivered in a culturally sensitive and multilingual format, ensuring accessibility and engagement for all communities present.

The GMTC+ Campaign is built on the foundation of inclusivity and grassroots advocacy. It seeks to serve not only the medically underserved but also those who are often excluded from health discourse due to socioeconomic or cultural barriers. “Dil Ki Seva” reflects the belief that true seva; “selfless service”, is most powerful when it brings healing, awareness, and dignity to the most forgotten corners of society.
This initiative marks the beginning of a broader national movement, one that aims to weave preventive cardiology into the social fabric of India through community-led action. By focusing on faith-based and transcultural engagement, HAF is setting a new precedent in cardiovascular health outreach- one rooted in compassion, science, and social justice.
Seva matters. It touches lives, changes minds, and saves hearts. And “Dil Ki Seva” is our humble offering to a cause that transcends medicine- it is about humanity, equity, and healing the heart of the nation, one meal, one life, one act of service at a time.
