HridayAmrit’s Inaugural ऑटो रिक्शा Campaign

HRIDAY पथ – Sehat Ki Sawari

HRIDAY पथ is a nationwide cardiovascular health education and outreach campaign designed specifically for India’s auto-rickshaw drivers- one of the most overlooked yet high-risk occupational groups in the country.

Conceptualized and led by Hridayamrit Foundation, this initiative is executed by a national network of medical student ambassadors and early career professionals who engage directly with drivers at rickshaw stands, public transport hubs, and road-side zones. The campaign focuses on promoting health literacy through early recognition of red flag symptoms, lifestyle modification, and preventive awareness about cardiometabolic diseases, which remains India’s leading cause of death.

The name HRIDAY पथ – meaning The Path of the Heart; symbolizes both a literal road and a larger journey toward heart health for those who keep India moving.

This project will be achieved by short education sessions, distribution of posters, handouts and banners in local languages, pre- and post-intervention research data to measure awareness gain contribution, storytelling initiatives, and a growing digital footprint across social media. This campaign is aimed to create a measurable shift in how preventive cardiology reaches underserved communities.

By combining grassroots mobilization, youth leadership, and public health innovation, HRIDAY पथ is more than a campaign- it’s a scalable and impactful movement, already being recognized by national and global public health platforms for its impact, equity, and replicability.
